Selected for character, not simply perfection. Form follows the stone.
- ArchitecturesLine, structure, balance. Pieces built as constructions: intersecting planes, repeated modules and intervals of negative space held in tension.
- ChromaColour treated as composition. Stones are placed for rhythm and contrast rather than for size, the way pigment is placed on a canvas.
- MatièreMetal as material rather than support. Worked surfaces, volume, texture and the way light and shadow travel across a hand-formed body.
